DOUBLE CLUTCH

Cookie policy.

Essential storage. Nothing for advertising or analytics.

What cookies and browser storage do

Cookies are small pieces of information saved by your browser. Local storage is another way a website saves information on your device. Double Clutch currently uses only storage needed to provide the service or remember your acknowledgement of our notice.

What we use now

  • Authentication and security: session information and tokens keep you signed in and allow secure access to your own listings and conversations. These may use browser local storage and essential cookies provided by our hosting or backend services. They persist until expiry, sign-out or removal, depending on the session and provider.
  • Notice acknowledgement: a local-storage entry remembers that you selected Accept, so the notice does not appear on every visit. It stays in that browser until you clear it or we update the notice.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or optional tracking technologies. External font requests may share technical request data with the font provider, as described in our privacy policy; they are not an analytics-cookie feature.

The notice and your choices

Accept acknowledges this notice; it does not enable optional tracking. Strictly necessary storage does not require consent under the UK’s cookie rules. If we introduce optional cookies in future, we will update this policy and request consent before using them.

You can remove or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. This may sign you out, prevent account features from working or cause the notice to appear again. Clearing the notice acknowledgement does not delete your account or listings.
